The water is my element. And light, of course. But the light will never become visible in a more beautiful way than in the water. It is hovering there and sometimes you can even grab it with your hands. Time also becomes visible, always lingering for a moment more than above the surface . I will collect these moments and turn them into memories, sometimes art. Underwater my thoughts can breathe easily. Thus this page is dedicated to all water people, and to those who want to join us.

My name is Marc Hillesheim. Ich live in Cologne, Germany but as a photographer I am working worldwide - on land and underwater. You can learn more about me and my work here.
LITTLE WAVES is an affair of the heart. I want to offer to everyone the chance for an underwater shooting with the same grade of professionalism as in my shootings for magazines like Playboy or brands like Biotherm.
There are many offers for cheap photo shootings, even underwater. If you´re after getting such pictures at a bargain you may be in good hands there. LITTLE WAVES is the studio for personalized premium underwater shootings. We want to enable everyone to realize their full potential as a part of an unique and timeless piece of art. Underwater images have something magical and unpredictable to them which challenges our creativity. We work together in developing a concept for your individual artwork and realize them with the utmost professionalism.

Most of our clients will not come to us to gain some more photos on their hard discs. An underwater shooting wth LITTLE WAVES aims at mutually creating images that will have a special place in their lifes or the lifes of their families. Very often the cause for it is a defining step in their lifes, maybe a marriage or maternity.

Where we are
Apart from our studio-pool in Cologne we have regular pools in Düsseldorf and close to Hamburg, as well as Palma de Mallorca. Among the locations for earlier underwater shootings are Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Monaco. We have access to many exceptional locations. Please feel free to ask.
Of course we will also shoot in your own pool.
Dogs
Cheerful chatting, a quick scramble about the favorite toy, cautious fumbles and belly floppers. Crestfallen poodles and dabbling dachshunds.
It´s all go at the dog´s swimming.
